Released as the 10th milestone edition in Ertl’s long-running official Texaco Collectors\' Series, this highly sought-after model features a striking high-gloss red finish accented by the classic white block \"TEXACO\" font and retro \"Tour With Texaco\" logo script along the streamlined rear fender boattail.The heavy die-cast metal vehicle doubles as a functional coin bank, boasting a discrete coin slot centered along the top catwalk walkway of the fuel tank and an access hatch lock system built cleanly into the undercarriage.Condition Details:
- Vehicle: Factory new, mint condition. The deep red finish is completely glossy, uniform, and pristine. The chrome waterfall grille, wrap-around front bumper, and trailing trim panels show brilliantly with zero oxidation. The side decals and text markings are 100% flat and immaculate. It has never been displayed and remains wrapped in its original protective inner clear factory plastic baggie layer.
- Box: Includes the original colorful, illustrated Texaco Series #10 theme retail box and the cardboard inner structure layout pieces. The box is complete and structurally sound with sharp edge corners, exhibiting only minor vintage shelf scuffing along the white back panel from storage.
