Vintage 1987 Rochester Zebras Coca-Cola Commemorative Can – Indiana State Football Champions
Original vintage Coca-Cola commemorative can celebrating the Rochester High School Zebras’ 1987 Indiana Class 2A football state championship.
Rochester defeated Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter 23–20 in the state championship game at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis.
The special red Coca-Cola can features:
* Rochester Zebras name and zebra mascot
* “1987 Indiana State High School AA Football Champions”
* Championship score: Rochester 23 – Indianapolis 20
* “Zebra Pride” design
* Classic Coca-Cola advertising graphics
Rochester finished the championship season 12–2 under head coach Mark Miller.
This is an unusual regional Coca-Cola collectible and a great piece of Rochester, Indiana history, particularly for Rochester High School alumni, Zebras football fans, Indiana high-school football collectors, and vintage Coca-Cola collectors.
The can is empty but the tab has not been pulled. A small pin hole in the bottom of the can to let the liquid out. (See Pictures)
