Vintage 1983 Yoshinobu Hara Limited Edition Chokin Art Collector Plate – Samurai / Warrior Attacking Tiger
Beautiful large Japanese Chokin collector plate featuring a dramatic scene of an armored samurai warrior confronting a tiger, surrounded by mountains and traditional landscape details.
Created by Japanese artist Yoshinobu Hara. The back identifies this as a limited edition design of 7,500 and explains that the Chokin image was created by etching pure copper and gilding it with silver and gold.
