Very nice mint1983 Vintage Puma 705 4 Star Folder Knife. The handles are Jacaranda. They have four polished silver pins. The guarantee control number is 17381. This indicates the knife was made in the 1st half of 1983. The model number is 22 0705. The knife is over 35 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. Puma only made the model 705 for one year.
This knife measures 7\" overall with a 2 3/4\" blade. The front tang is stamped: PUMA STAINLESS.The rear tang is stamped: 705 4 Star.
The knife features a Puma Germany Jacaranda Wood handle with four silver pins.The handles are gorgeous witha lotof character to the grain.The knife is mint. It is a gorgeous and averyrare Puma knife.
The knife includes the \"Puma Proof Mark\" on the blade: a small dot or ping on the blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing.
The Puma knife comes in the Puma green & yellow plastic box with the gold tag.This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany in 1983. It is truly a rare Puma knife that were made to the the highest quality in Solingen Germany at Puma Werks.
