DESIGN
The obverse celebrates America's Space Age World's Fair and features several iconic elements of the Century 21 Exposition, including the Seattle Space Needle, monorail, exposition buildings, globe and Washington State imagery.
The reverse reads:

IN TRADE DURING AMERICA'S SPACE-AGE WORLD'S FAIR

It further states that the token was redeemable at the exposition grounds or participating businesses in Washington State through October 21, 1962.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE
The Century 21 Exposition was held in Seattle in 1962 with a futuristic science and space-age theme. The event helped create some of Seattle's most recognizable landmarks, including the Space Needle and Seattle Center Monorail.
