The certificate honors William H. Trewarthe or similar spelling with the title of “Conquistador of the Capital City of the Fabulous Southwest.” It appears to be signed by Ralph E. Seitsinger, Mayor.
The certificate has an attractive Southwest design with a star and sun emblem, blue scrollwork, illustrated regional figures, mountain imagery, and “Paso del Norte” artwork at the bottom.
