Here is a vintage Schwinn Speedometer head which fits most any vintage Schwinn bike including Schwinn Schwinn Stingray, Deluxe Stingray, Typhoon, Fair Lady, Letour, Paramount, Continental, Breeze, Varsity, Suburban, Racer, Corvette, Jaguar, Typhoon, Stingray, etc.This one comes exactly as shown and is relatively nice for its age! (see pics) It shows 8202 miles on the odometer and goes up to 40 MPH.
The majority of the vintage Schwinn bike speedoometers I have seen are FROZEN! I hooked up a cable to it and spun it. This one is TESTED AND WORKS!!! HOWEVER.... it could probably use a good lubrication as it does not immediately return to zero mph. (most people dont actually use these anyway, they just like the idea of the period correct accessories) IF this is any issue please do not purchase. Comes exactly as shown. Respectable condition for its age!\"Period Correct\" items are always best on a vintage bike. A new item on a vintage bike looks out of place. These are so cool and getting VERY hard to find these days! It will look nice on many bikes of the era! ENJOY! Great for display or install on a bike.
