THE LARGE FROSTED GLASS FORMAT
These are the larger frosted-glass format associated with the Knox Oil promotion.
The pitcher measures approximately:

6¼” at its widest diameter
The glasses are the taller, larger-format frosted tumblers with the larger-scale Blue Eagle artwork.
The clear examples encountered in the series are a different glass form, being shorter and tapered, with the same Blue Eagle figures represented at a smaller scale. The glasses offered here are the larger frosted format.
ORIGINAL FROSTED FINISH
The distinctive frosted/milk-white finish is an important characteristic of this set.
Close examination shows natural production variation in areas that would have been difficult to reach during finishing, including behind the pitcher handle and beneath/around the ice-lip, where the glass remains smooth and clearer.
The pitcher also exhibits fine forming/mold-seam detail along the handle and at the lower handle attachment.

The “Famous Oklahoma Indians” series was produced as a promotional item for Knox Oil Company around 1959 and features artwork by Oklahoma artist Acee Blue Eagle.
