This railroad operated a number of famous "named" trains, many of which bore the name "Hiawatha", to include the Morning Hiawatha, Midwest Hiawatha, Olympian Hiawatha, Twin Cities Hiawatha, Columbian, Fast Mail, the Sioux, and the Pioneer Limited.
For sale is a passenger train timetable from the Milwaukee dated September 27-1959 to April 24, 1960. It lists all trains operated by the Milwaukee, both "named" trains and local runs. Included are equipment manifests, coach and sleeping car fares, and a system map.
The timetable measures appx 9x4 inches closed, opens to appx 9x8 inches, and contains 36 pages. The cover is a glossy paperstock, while the content pages are a low-grade kraft paper. The timetable is in good condition, with no writing or markings, and the binding is secure with all pages firmly in place. There are no rips or tears, but two pages, to include the cover, have small snags at the top. The cover also shows some minor wear.
