1951 Vintage Wire Press Photo by ACME.Hollywood, California.Marion Wilson, the \"Lady in Black\" who gained much publicity as a mysterious visitor to the grave of Rudolph Valentino, struggles against restraining straps and ambulance attendant Bob Jarman at the Hollywood Receiving Hospital here, where she is being treated for an overdose of sleeping pills. This was the fifth time Miss Wilson has attempted to take her life since 1949.Marion Wilson was a 1920s Ziegfeld Follies dancer and Broadway performer—who also used the stage name Marion Benda—associated with silent film star Rudolph Valentino.Photo is Dated: November 24, 1951.
