Ideal gift for special occassions or to be collected. It is a very beautiful piece of LeTallec Art Collection that could decorate any table or be a gift for a special occasion. No breaks, no repairs, no losses, only the top part moves because the central screw is loose; I didn\'t want to adjust it so that it could be changed by an experienced person. In the fact, it looks good really. Received by inheritance. No original packaging.
This elegant Medici-style porcelain vase from Old Paris (Vieux Paris) is distinguished by its striking background in carmine red and pastel pink, enhanced with lavish gilt decoration. It features a hand-painted central medallion or reserve depicting a delicate bouquet of polychrome flowers (roses and wildflowers) framed by gilt scrolls. It has two curved side handles with fully gilt ornamental reliefs, typical of 19th-century French porcelain.
The mark reads in French: \"Dessiné et peint entièrement à la main par Le Tallec à Paris\" (Designed and painted entirely by hand by Le Tallec in Paris). This certifies that the vase is an exclusive, handcrafted work of art. Blue monogram: Displays the stylized and intertwined letters L and T (the workshop\'s official signature) and the initials \"L.B.\": In Le Tallec\'s hallmark system, these additional letters identify the specific workshop artist who decorated the piece, or they form part of its dating code. The letter \"V\" indicates the year of creation: 1951.
The Vase is 8.25\" (21 cm) high, 5.5\" (14 cm) of maximum diameter, the square base has a side of 3.6\" (9 cm) and its weight is 26 oz (738 g).
