Just a remarkable find. Bearings are good. We’ll still roll. Tires have plenty of rubber left.The Mercedes of baby carriages from the 1950s!!This elegant European carriage has a wonderful old-world presence, with a cream coach-built body accented by deep navy panels, large spoked wheels, chrome-finished fenders and trim, a full navy hood, upholstered cream interior, and its original Van Delft maker’s badge prominently retained on the body.The carriage has been carefully cleaned, detailed and polished with an emphasis on preserving its original vintage character rather than over-restoring it.The original suspension used leather straps, which had deteriorated from age. These have been replaced with new heavy leather straps fitted in the original arrangement and conditioned prior to installation.
