Serving the Riverside County Council in California, Tahquitz #127 eventually merged with Wisumahi #478 in 1973 to form Cahuilla Lodge #127.This patch features the iconic, stylized \"hideous face\" of theTahquitz Shaman/Monster, a design copied directly from the historic painted rock face atCamp Emersonin Idyllwild, California.Because earlyTahquitz Lodge 127listings are classically cataloged in standard guides as having \"no known official pocket flap issues,\" odd-shaped activity and jacket patches like this are highly sought-after, elusive additions for California and OA history enthusiasts.Physical & Vintage Authenticity Markers:
