The busy seaside scene includes a traditional wooden surf/rescue boat immediately behind the women, an elevated beach-patrol or lifeguard stand bearing a visible “NO BALL PLAYING” regulation sign, numerous beachgoers, and distinctive boardwalk architecture in the background.
The Atlantic City attribution is supported by the character of the beachfront setting, period beach-patrol equipment and signage, although the precise location along the boardwalk has not been conclusively identified.
The reverse bears repeating KODAK / VELOX / PAPER manufacturer\'s markings, consistent with a mid-20th-century commercially processed gelatin silver snapshot.

Condition shows vintage age and handling wear, including edge/corner wear, some creasing and surface marks, and irregular/torn portions along one border as clearly shown. Reverse has age toning, manufacturer\'s backprints, a blue numerical marking and an old pencil notation.
