1950 PONTIAC Chieftain Illuminated Hood Ornament, Super Streak, Streamliner For Sale

This is a popular factory accessory illuminated hood ornament for a 1950 Pontiac. Used on Chieftain, Streamliner, Super DeLuxe Catalina, Silver Streak models. The metal body on this one has been professionally re-chromed by a top-notch plating company and the result is excellent. Mounting studs are all intact. The amber Lucite plastic Indian head is an original in decent condition and is not a reproduction. There is a new socket and pigtail for the light bulb, but the bulb is not included so you can use either a 6 volt or 12 volt bulb. The light socket is often missing from these and can be hard to find. This hood ornament is used but has not been installed on any car after it was re-chromed. The condition is excellent, ready to mount on your beautiful Pontiac.
