Excellent full-vehicle view of a 1948–1953 Dodge B-Series “Pilothouse” truck fitted with a long wooden stake body and dual rear wheels, photographed while loaded for hauling.
The truck displays the distinctive rounded Dodge B-Series cab and front-end styling, along with visible DODGE badging. Dodge produced the B-Series from 1948 through 1953 in light-, medium- and heavy-duty configurations, including stake-bed and commercial chassis trucks.
A particularly appealing image for collectors of vintage Dodge trucks, commercial vehicles, transportation history, trucking, occupational photography and postwar Americana.
Approximate photograph size: 4.5 x 2.75 inches.
The photograph has attractive scalloped/deckled edges. The reverse is blank with no names, date or location identified.
Vintage condition with toning, scattered spotting, surface wear and some heavier discoloration/spotting toward the right edge. Please see all photographs for exact condition.
Please check my store for additional vintage transportation, occupational, automotive and vernacular photographs. I ship quickly and pack carefully and securely.
