1947 Jackie Robinson Rookie Dodgers / Yankees Vintage Page 1948 Who’s Who Baseball
Original vintage double-sided baseball publication piece, believed to be the detached rear cover from the 1948 16th Edition of Who’s Who in the Major Leagues.
One side features the 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Champions, including Jackie Robinson during his historic rookie season, along with Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Carl Furillo, Ralph Branca and other members of the pennant-winning Dodgers.
The reverse features the 1947 New York Yankees World Champions, including Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto and other members of the championship team.
The Dodgers and Yankees met in the 1947 World Series, with New York winning the championship in seven games.
