1943-49 Photo Album, Gasparilla Day Parade, Tampa, Camp Nakawana, Nursing, NC FL For Sale

Estate sale find
This item is a large photo album, likely compiled by Miss Helen Sharpe (1927-2021) of Taylorsville, NC between 1943 and 1949. The first few pages are of Sharpe\'s nursing school classmates from HF Long School of Nursing in Statesville, NC. We only see her name one time on a graduation invitation. There are photos of the compiler that just say \"me\". Possible that it was compiled by someone else but this is all the info I could find. The handwriting of the captions stays consistent through the photo album, so likely one person put it together.
There are also many photos of family and friends, trips to Florida (Tampa, St. Pete, Daytona, Weekiwatchee, Sarasota), camp photos of Camp Nakawana (girls camp) in TN (she must have been a counselor).
My favorite photos are the ones of the 1948 Gasparilla Day Parade in Tampa, lots of floats.
I counted 143 photos. There range from 2 x 2.5 up to 3 x 5. There are some invitations and news clippings.
14 x 12 hardcover scrapbook. String binding. Good condition. Album pages are brittle, there is some chipping to many page edges. First leaf has a horizontal tear. Very few of the photos have peeling danage, not included in total photo count. See images. Photos are pasted onto pages.
