Beautiful 1940s brass table lamp in the style of Austrian designer Josef Hoffmann, with an elegant, turned brass stem, circular base, and distinctive conical shade. A lovely example of restrained European modernist design, with Art Deco and Vienna Secession influences.
The brass has developed a wonderful aged patina. The shade is a replacement but is faithful to the original design in both shape and proportions.
