1940s-1950s CHRISTMAS CARDS UNUSED LOT 15 COZY SNOWY WINTER LANDSCAPES CHURCHES HOUSES HOLLY LEAVES POINSETTIAS CANDLES

The scenes on these 15 unused cards feature classic, nostalgic winter landscapes, cozy country scenes with houses, churches and snowy landscapes. One 1940s card is a village tree lighting with candles on the tree. One is a Peek-Through design using a popular 1940s–1950s novelty technique where the outer paper frame looks cut to create a unique framing window. The other 13 cards are painted by artist PB and are snowy country landscapes with pine trees, churches and homes. Some feature poinsettias and candles. All have smaller scenes and greetings inside and 13 have little scenes on the back card covers. Some of the cards have multiples. There are 8 different designs in this lot of 15 cards. Front greetings use elegant script fonts. All cards are unused. NO envelopes. All have gentle vintage edge wear, tiny corner bumps and have tanned slightly. See photos.
