This vintage H. Gerstner & Sons Model N-13 "Student Model Line" Dentist 10 drawer machinist toolbox from the Mid to late 1940s is a serious sought-after collectible piece, and thats just the box. This beautiful black outter case, and inter shelves and drawers really showcases the craftsmanship and quality of H. Gerstner & Sons.
Made in the United States, this chest tool box is a rare find for collectors of vintage dental artifacts. With its sturdy construction and detailed design, this piece of history is sure to be a valuable addition to any collection of dentist memorabilia.
As you open the top hatch your immediately shown the three levels of picks displayed, 111 different dental picks and the paperwork that was with the box when i got it. The front lid converts into a table with a hard temperature resistant plate attached for doing some work on incase theres not room to spread out.
Of these tools theres some great company's with awesome reputations, great names like all the SWS tools, the seven Midwest high-speed drills, hundreds of burrs, the Ivory hand tools, the Bernards and many more solid company's. One thang to note, the key was lost and I can't find it. You should be able to order one or go hit up your local key and lock hardware store. If I find it I will revise this listing.
Please take time to scroll through the photos to better array yourself among the details, and ask me questions if you have any. This is an awesome box just in itself. Tho the 37 pounds of tools add tremendous value to this package and then you have the documents proving this N-13 model as the "Student line model". Not to mention the name of the doctor that used it thru his time as a Virginia Dentist. The name is in the paperwork. A Dr. Williams is his name and it appears as he was a student at Medical college of Virginia, School of Dentistry.
So please don't bother beating me up on my price, for I'm listing this well under fair market value for what this is. Leaving you plenty of room to resale and make some money, or to get this for a good deal and be the end user as the lifetime owner. Either way you can take the time to do some tender loving care and detail all the surgical stainless steel toolage and sorting all those picks after rubbing them down.
Thank you for stopping bye, and I welcome you to look thru all 300ish items on my page. There's a ton of antiques to look thru.
