This is the classic embossed hobbleskirt (contour) Coca-Cola bottle in aqua / Coca-Cola green glass, marked "Coca-Cola / Trade Mark Registered / Bottle Pat. D-105529." The base is prominently embossed WAYCROSS GA, which makes it a strong piece for collectors of Georgia Coca-Cola bottles and Southern town-name soda bottles. The heel carries the Laurens Glass Works "L" maker's mark and the 1940 date code.
The D-105529 contour design relates to Coca-Cola's renewed 1937 bottle patent. Waycross Coca-Cola was founded in 1905, with L.B. Harrell becoming sole owner in 1920, and it remained an important regional bottler for decades.
Condition: intact with no chips or cracks observed. There is authentic surface scratching and case wear from original commercial use, mainly across portions of the body panels.
