1939 World's Fair Ring in original box from Saks-34th Herald Square
This ring features the Trylon and Perisphere, the 700-foot-tall needle and 200-foot-diameter sphere representing the "World of Tomorrow," the theme of the 1939 World's Fair.
Saks-34th Street, established in 1902,was a prominentdepartment store located at 1293-1311 Broadway on Herald Square in New York City. It served as a separate, more middle-market counterpart to the luxury Saks Fifth Avenue until it closed in 1965. High-end department stores frequently sold branded, exclusive souvenirs for the Fair.
