THE MAGIC OF DISNEY STRIKES AGAIN!

in this delightful storyinvolving Mickey and his friends!

In this particular story line, Mickey sees a new house being built and falls in love with it instantly. Upon speaking with the workmen, he informs them he will "take it." The workman gasped at his excitement and informed Mickey, "You'll have to see the boss." As he leaves, he meets MINNIE MOUSE, coming from Aunt Matilda's camp. He tells her of a surprise! Minne always wanted a pet crocodile - that must be what Mickey wanted to show her. After her disappointment, realizing it was a house, they watched the workmen continue constructing the house. As they conversed about all the features of this bighome, Mickey asked Minnie: "How would you like to live here, too?" "With a crocodile?" asked Minnie? "Yes, indeed."

Minnie then asked if Aunt Matilda and the twins,Monty and Morty, could live with them too. Mickey cried: "We can't invite the whole town." Then he agreed but offered "Not another one." They were so excited they decided to tell strong mindedAunt Matilda. The next adventure was to coax firm, strong mindedAunt Matilda to agree upon their request! Upon their meetings, Aunt Matilda wasn'tvery friendly. After a few uneasy exchanges, Aunt Matilda was convinced of the idea and wanted to move in the next day. Mickey gasped but he didn't dare to say no in fear she might change her mind. "Of course," he cried. "I'll fix it up." Mickey had a hard time with the workmen as he couldn't move in. The house wasn't finished. Aunt Matilda likes to get things done quickly. The pressure was on! The stories continue with twists and turns of fun, chaos and acrocodile!

This is a cleverly written vintagebook, in classic Disney form, where valuable lessons are learned, adventures are explored and, of course, what Walt Disney book would be complete without its sense of humor and warm affection? As with our current day, reading, writing and arithmetic were the foundations of education in the late 1930's and 1940's. D.C. Heath and Company was a Disney licensee from 1939 until 1951. Heath was a Boston-based publishing company that produced a series of 12 Disney educational books, which featured a wide range of Disney characters. Children learned how to read through the repeat use of words and simple sentence structure. The Heath series followed a logical sequence and became progressively harder as the child moved from one book to the next in the series. It's not known at this time which Disney artist was responsible for the gorgeous art found in the Heath books, but an amazing point to note is the fact each illustration was inked and painted on cells like the ones used in the films. This technique gave each illustration an amazing three-dimensional appearance.

Come join Mickey and his gang as they learn to live as a family in his newly constructed home, amongst other surprises! Live through their journeys and learn all about theirenchanting lessons! This book shares a positivevibe with the moral that no matter what obstacles come your way, with effort, you can't fail! Plainly, young and "young at heart" will enjoy this vintage Disney treasure. This may be a small book yet it leaves such a LARGE impression in your heart!

That's the magic of Disney!
