Vintage 1937 “Greetings from Flagstaff Arizona” large-letter linen postcard.
The colorful front features oversized FLAGSTAFF lettering filled with scenes of local buildings, Native American imagery, Western subjects and Arizona scenery, with covered wagons and riders shown above and below the lettering.
The back includes a short history of Flagstaff and mentions the Grand Canyon, mountain and lake resorts and the surrounding Indian Country.
This card is a Genuine Curt Teich postcard and carries production number 7A-H2489, which corresponds to 1937.
The postcard is unposted and has no handwriting. It was previously kept in a scrapbook, so there are areas of stuck paper and adhesive residue on the back where it had been attached.
The front still has strong color and displays well. Nice piece for a Flagstaff collector, Arizona collection, large-letter postcard collection, Route 66 collection or Western Americana display.
Please see all photos for exact condition. The postcard shown is the exact one you will receive.
