The reverse is the printed log of the eastbound-return crossing Southampton and Cherbourg to New York in August 1937 recording departure from the Southampton berth at 10.50 a.m. B.S.T. on Wednesday August 18 with arrival and departure at Cherbourg the same afternoon then daily runs of 535 757 729 718 and 354 miles through Monday August 23 when Ambrose Channel Lightvessel was abeam at 12.05 a.m. E.D.S.T.
