Vintage 1937/1938 Ernst Leitz Wetzlar binocular laboratory microscope, serial #341028. This microscope wasmanufactured in Germany and widely used in medical and research laboratories in the mid-20th century. Ernst Leitz later became Leica, one of the most respected names in optical instruments.
This microscope comes with its\' original wooden storage cabinet and numerous accessories.

The microscope is in very good vintage condition. It appears well preserved with normal cosmetic wear consistent with age.Although it has not been professionally calibrated or tested in a laboratory setting, the opticsappear clean and the mirror reflects light evenly through the optics. The wooden case shows typical age wear.
