Original vintage black-and-white photograph of Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad passenger car No. 202 at the South Bend, Indiana yards.The back of the original frame is handwritten “at South Bend yards 1935.”Car No. 202 was part of the South Shore’s 200-series passenger trailer fleet built by Pullman in the 1920s. Wonderful period image showing the complete side of the interurban passenger car with South Bend buildings, utility poles and winter street scene visible in the background.Photograph remains housed in its older wooden frame. Frame measures approximately 8 x 5.5 inches.Vintage condition with age-related wear to the photograph and frame. Frame has scratches, small holes/marks and general wear. Photograph shows some age and surface imperfections.
