1932 Progress of Transportation in America 12 Historical Line Art Prints ML0257.
This set is complete and in “good” condition since it’s paper from 1932. This was displayed in a class room for many years. Please study the photos and determine the condition for yourself. Two prints have white caulk? Or something one print has tears along the edge. Most show much wear but the drawings are very nice and ready to enjoy. The paper cover/case is included along with the introduction and description guide.
Because this was written/published in 1932, it shows how the world was different and still developing. An example is: “more than three hundred years ago the Pilgrims sailed across the Atlantic Ocean in their little ship, the Mayflower. It took them two months to make the voyage that you or I can now make in less than a week”. We take the jumbo jet for granted now a days. But your parents or grandparents may have lived through this change. And what about the Concord when it flew?
As Dillon said. “ the times they are a changing”
Hope this brings you joy.
