Vintage Polar Pak 7 Bottle Soda Delivery Cooler From the Universal Container Co. Toledo Ohio. RARE 1920-30s / Original Paint These 7 bottle “POLAR PAK” soda delivery containers arealmost nonexistent and tough to find anywhere. Made from heavy gauge steel they were used by various soda delivery companies to protect early expensive glass soda bottles during the 1920’s and late 1930’s. Eventually they were replaced by the newer lighter weight wood or tin 6 bottle tray carriers as most metals became precious during the early war years. Six bottles would be earmarked for delivery and (1) bottle for a sales sample hence the reason for a 7 bottle carrier. This vintage “POLAR PAK” soda delivery container is all original and fully functional. It is very displayable as it is or it could be easily restored or repainted with your favorite soda brand logo!
