Rareoriginal 1929–1931 Chevrolet “Winged Viking” radiator cap / hood ornament mascot.
This striking early Chevrolet accessory features the distinctiveArt Deco Winged Viking design, with a sculpted face, curled horn details and long streamlined wings extending toward the rear. An excellent display piece from the early Chevrolet era.
This is themascot together with the large radiator-cap/base assembly, not simply a loose ornament.
Condition
Vintage unrestored condition with substantial age and use. The ornament retains very good overall definition, including the facial features, horns and long wing details.
Please note:The circular radiator-cap/base hasvisible cracking, including cracks extending through portions of the top and edge. There is also plating loss, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, pitting and general surface wear consistent with age.
