United States Shipping Board - A large, oval china serving platter featuring the U.S.S.B. shield logo in green.
The 9.5\" by 13.5\" platter is bottom-marked Buffalo China with a date of 1928. Due to its simplicity, the platter was probably used in Third Class. The attached photo shows similar china in use in the LEVIATHAN\'s Third Class Dining Salon in the 1920s.
