Vintage Kinfolks Incorporated fixed blade hunting knife with its original Kinfolks-marked leather sheath.
Based on the full “KINFOLKS INCORPORATED” maker marking, this appears to be an early Kinfolks example from the 1928–1933 era. A beautiful early American fixed-blade knife with loads of character and a great display presence.
Knife measures approximately 9” overall with a 5” blade. Features an attractive jigged brown handle with decorative pins, metal guard, and clearly visible KINFOLKS INCORPORATED marking near the base of the blade.
Included is the vintage brown leather sheath, which is also Kinfolks marked. A removable metal blade guard/liner was found inserted inside the sheath and is included. This appears to have been added by a previous owner to help protect the leather sheath from the blade and is not represented as an original Kinfolks component.
Condition: This is a well-used vintage knife approaching a century in age and is being sold in its current, unrestored condition. The blade shows substantial patina, oxidation, staining, pitting, scratches and general wear consistent with age and use. The handle shows age-related wear but remains very attractive. The leather sheath shows wear, discoloration, scuffs, edge wear and aging to the leather and hardware. Please carefully review all photographs for the exact condition.
The knife has not been aggressively cleaned, polished or restored, preserving the aged appearance and character collectors often prefer.
