THE ITEM DESCRIPTION:Wunderfull 100% original and authentic (probably 1928!) pocket tobacco tin ATLANTIC, with the main image the SPIRIT OF ST.LOUIS airplane that was flown on 20-21.05.2027 by Charles Lindbergh across the ATLANTIC OCEAN to Paris. A small image of a sailing ship is visable at the lower edge in the middle.

It is a phantastic historical tobacco tin, very probably of British origin, also included are 4 original photos with happy passengers being photographed in the cardboard-airplane in photostudios, which must have happened millions of time... The airplane is also a 2nd time printed on the bottom-side.

The original airplane is now one of the highlights in Washington DC, National Air and Space Museum.The airplane itself is ONE OF A KIND, perhaps this incredibly rare tin also. In 40 yrs of collecting I have only encountered it 1 time..... Lucky me! Now it is for sale...... As there is no comparison and a very unique find, so is my askingprice.

This tin is probably now 98 yrs old. I hope somebody else in the US, Canada, UK, Australia.... where-ever you are, will be soon the new owner and also enjoy it a long long time from now!
