The tickets are dated Sunday, August 17, 1924 and were issued for Manley Day at Krug Park, located at 52nd and Military Avenue in Omaha. The main ticket advertises admission to Krug Park, “Omaha’s Greater Amusement Park,” with free picnic grounds and free car checking.
Each ticket also includes attached coupons for period attractions, including the Bathing Beach, Ball Room, free attractions, and car checking.
These tickets have especially interesting local provenance. They were discovered together around 1990 during remodeling of a house in Manley, Nebraska, where they had been concealed behind the plaster walls. They were found along with other period items from the home.
All 9 tickets are fully intact. No coupons have been torn off. Condition varies across the group, with expected age-related toning, staining, surface soil, folds/creases, and edge wear from long-term storage. Please review all photos carefully for individual condition.
