1921-1952 Carnation Milk International Trademark Archive China Turkey UK stamp For Sale

Original archive of international trademark registrations, renewals, translations, receipts, and related legal documents concerning Carnation and several other food and dairy brands. The group dates from approximately 1921 through 1952 and includes material issued in the United States, Republic of China, Czechoslovakia, Great Britain, Turkey, and Venezuela, along with a 1923 document certified by the United States Consulate in Harbin, China. Brands represented include Carnation, Gloria Evaporated Milk, Flower Brand, Chrysanthemum Brand, Blue Cross Condensed Milk, Peacock, Rosinella, and Diplomat Brand.

Several documents retain attached examples of the original printed labels or trademark artwork. Other features include embossed and wax seals, silk ribbons, official signatures, revenue and consular fee stamps, Chinese and Ottoman Turkish script, English translations, and later corporate filing or microfilm markings. Highlights include a 1923 Chinese proclamation and English translation protecting the Peacock trademark of the American Milk Products Corporation, Republic of China registrations for Carnation Company and General Milk Company brands, a large Turkish registration with attached Carnation label and embossed seal, United States Patent Office certificates for the illustrated Rosinella trademark, and registrations from Prague, London, and Venezuela.

Condition varies throughout the archive. The documents were originally folded and show toning, creasing, staining, edge wear, tears, chipping, paper loss, punch and staple holes, and occasional old tape repairs. Several of the larger certificates are fragile or heavily worn, while others remain well preserved with their seals and attached labels intact. The non-English documents have not been fully translated. Sold together as one historical archive, as found and exactly as shown.
