Offered for your consideration is a beautiful antique original hand-colored map showing the Central Park North neighborhood of Harlem including the Frederick Douglass circle, bounded by Central Park to the south, W116th street to the north, 8th avenue to the west and Lenox avenue to the east. On the reverse is a neighborhood adjacent to the east that includes Mount Sinai St Luke's hospital. This antique 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" map printed on heavy paper is in VERY GOOD condition with light tone, soil and edge wear, from the Atlas of New York City, Borough of Manhattan, ©1916 by G.W. Bromley, also known as the Land Atlas.
