Scarce antique 1913 Silver Jubilee commemorative badge celebrating the 25th anniversary of St. Josaphat Parish in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1888-1913.
The upper banner reads “SREBRNY JUBILEUSZ,” Polish for “Silver Jubilee.” The ornate suspended medallion features an architectural image of St. Josaphat and commemorative Polish lettering with the anniversary dates.
St. Josaphat Parish was founded in Milwaukee in 1888 by the city’s growing Polish Catholic community and later became the Basilica of St. Josaphat, one of Milwaukee’s best-known historic landmarks.

Schwaab Stamp & Seal Co. was a prominent Milwaukee manufacturer of commemorative badges and medals during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Condition:Displays well with attractive age and detail. Expected antique surface wear, scratches, darkened areas, patina and finish loss are present. Pin and connecting rings are intact as shown. No attempt has been made to polish the piece, preserving its aged surface.
