Vintage chrome art postcard of a 1911 Seagrave Chemical Hose Truck, 6 cylinders, of FDNY Engine 16, pictured in front of the firehouse with firemen aboard, reproduced from an original painting by automotive artist Leslie Saalburg. A nice crossover card for fire apparatus and FDNY collectors. Card notes the truck is on display at the Long Island Auto Museum, Southampton, New York (Henry Austin Clark Jr. collection). Published by Dormand Postcard, Riverhead, Long Island, NY, card No. 6612. Standard size, approximately 5.5 x 3.5 inches.
