This antique manual typewriter is a rare find for collectors of vintage writing instruments. The Underwood brand is known for its quality craftsmanship, and this No.3 model from the latter half of 1908 is no exception. Measuring 12 inches in carriage length, this typewriter features an automatic ribbon reverse and is in fair working condition.

The carriage doesn't automatically move with a key stroke. You have to tap it manually. A few of the keys are slightly depressed as if adjusted to tight or something. The number 4 key is missing the top pad. The other glass key pads are all in great condition. The keys easily depress and return nicely. It will need a new ribbon if you want to use it as intended. Overall, it's fairly clean, and with all four feet and near working condition, it's a true gem!
