Early RPPC photograph postcard showing President Theodore Roosevelt with members of the Pennsylvania State Police during a 1907 visit to Wyoming, Pennsylvania. The included Pennsylvania State Archives screenshot identifies the image as a 1907 photograph taken during Roosevelt’s visit with State Police officers shortly after the force was established in 1905. Strong image with numerous uniformed officers posed outside a building, many wearing campaign hats and early State Police uniforms.
Postcard bears a clear Wyoming, Pennsylvania cancel and was mailed to Emmaus, PA with 1¢ Washington stamp. Real photo finish with divided back.
