Original January 1907 funeral notification card issued by Chebra Rofei Cholim M’Krakau, a New York Jewish mutual-aid/beneficial society associated with immigrants from Kraków (Krakau), Poland.
The notice announces the death of society member Samuel Keppler and gives his late residence as:
52 E. 107th Street, near Madison Avenue, New York City
His funeral was announced for Monday, January 7, 1907 at 10:30 A.M.
The notice was issued by order of the society president and is signed in print:

Chebra Rofei Cholim M’Krakau was one of New York’s historic Jewish landsmanshaftn—mutual-aid organizations formed by immigrants from the same European hometown or region. Such societies provided assistance to members and families and maintained burial arrangements/cemetery sections.
