Dimensions:A phenomenal, museum-grade piece of early American petroliana and industrial oil history, this 1895-era design United States official 1-cent government postal card features a spectacular full-panel typeset wholesale price sheet issued by the legendary White & Bagley Company of Worcester, Massachusetts. Dated January 14, 1905—just before the company revolutionized the automotive market with their iconic \"Oilzum\" motor oil brand—this quotation card itemizes early lubricants, including Prime Winter Lard Oil, Bleached Winter Sperm Oil, Castor Oil for Belts, and Economy Screw Cutting Oil. Crucially, the bottom margin showcases two distinct, detailed illustrations of wooden oil barrels branded for \"Royal Worcester Cylinder Oil\" and \"Royal Worcester Machine Oil.\" This rare trade document was mailed directly to another legendary New England manufacturing icon, the H. B. Smith Company of Westfield, Mass., famous for their cast-iron boiler foundries. The address side features a crisp Worcester, Mass. machine postmark alongside a bold Westfield, Mass. receiving circular hand-stamp dated January 15, 1905, boldly canceling the William McKinley 1-cent stamp. An irreplaceable, top-tier cross-over artifact for collectors of antique oil company advertising, whaling-era lubricants, and industrial manufacturing ephemera.
