A visitor to Weyauwega might have stopped at a local shop and purchased this very souvenir tray as a keepsake of the community’s newly dedicated Soldiers Monument—a tangible reminder of patriotism, sacrifice, and hometown pride.
This antique aluminum souvenir tray commemorates the Weyauwega, Wisconsin Soldiers Monument, dedicated in 1901 by the local Grand Army of the Republic post. The reverse is embossed “Soldiers Monument, Weyauwega, Wis.” and “Unveiled July 4th 1901,” connecting it directly to one of Waupaca County’s most significant Civil War memorials. Decorative scalloped edges and period Art Nouveau-inspired corner details add to its charm.
