Maker Provenance:

Manufactured by The W.F. Weingar Co., Buffalo, N.Y.

Having a local Buffalo-based manufacturer makes this a premier piece of exposition history.

Glass: The thick, clear glass block is in excellent antique condition. The decorative fluted/ribbed edges are remarkably crisp with no major chips, cracks, or heavy distracting scratches.

Graphic: The internal sepia-toned bison illustration remains sharp, clear, and perfectly legible.

Backing: The leather backing shows honest, historic wear, scuffing, and minor text loss to the factory stamp consistent with its 125-year age. There is a small, faint pencil mark ("B1/G") from a past estate or shop inventory on the bottom.
