Original antique cabinet card photograph featuring a formal studio portrait of a young man dressed in a suit and bow tie. The photograph bears the Bateham photographer/studio mark, with Norwalk and Oberlin, Ohio printed at the lower right. The upper portion of the original mount has an embossed “1901” marking, providing additional period dating evidence.
Measures approximately 4.38” x 6.34”. Believed to date to the late 19th to early 20th century based on the clothing, photographic style, and cabinet-card mount.
Condition is consistent with age, including toning, foxing/spotting, edge and corner wear, and some small areas of loss/creasing to the mount. The portrait itself remains attractive and well defined. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
