Original 1895 bank check drawn on The Beloit State Bank of Beloit, Wisconsin, dated December 10, 1895, made payable to Joy Morton & Co. for $47.29. The check was issued by E.J. Evans, Cash Grocer, and features elegant 19th-century penmanship and typography printed by Wilmanns Bros. Lith. Milwaukee. The reverse includes multiple bank cancellation stamps, including endorsements from Joy Morton & Co. and the Continental National Bank, showing its journey through late-19th-century banking channels. A vivid purple “PAID” stamp dated Dec 12, 1895 completes the document.
