circa 1890s scrapbook binder with 'Scraps' on the cover and 'The World in Pictures' on the frontis chromolithograph plate-- other than that I can find no other printing information about this item on any of the plates inside -- the artwork is exemplary and an amazing montage of the most exciting aspects of the continents of the world -- included are 'The World in Pictures;' 'Europe;' 'Asia;' 'Africa;' 'America;' and 'Australia' -- my guess is this was made in Germany -- -- cover measures 12 1/2 by 16 in. - plates are 12 by 15 1/2 in. -- 54 pages --
-- rather light wear overall -- foxing inside the covers -- nearly unused inside - one page has news articles pasted to it - the rest are blank except they are all enumerated in one corner ---- ***** -
