Listing is for aAntique brass “WORLD’S EXPOSITION” button from the late 1800s–early 1900s. This button was used on uniforms, jackets, or souvenir garments associated with one of the major U.S. World’s Expositions from that era (Chicago 1893, Pan-American 1901, St. Louis 1904, etc.).

The button is solid brass with natural age patina and verdigris. The raised lettering “WORLD’S EXPOSITION” is still visible around the front, and the back features the original cast shank.
