The striking chromolithographed cover advertises the Gettysburg Panorama & Museum near the Mechanics’ Pavilion — a major San Francisco attraction of the era.
Inside are vivid lithographed advertisements for prominent California firms such as Sperry Flour Co., Kohler & Chase Musical Instruments, and H.S. Crocker & Co. itself, plus portraits of fraternal officers and the essay “A Short History of California” by William Heath Davis.
A remarkable survivor of late-Victorian San Francisco printing and booster culture.

Front cover detached; back cover missing. Remaining text block securely bound and pages clean with bright, unfaded lithography. Light edge wear and a small corner chip on front wrap; no writing, stains, or repairs noted. Overall a well-preserved example in Very Good condition for age, protected in an archival sleeve with rigid backing.
